| The SW Florida Professional Development
Partnership has chosen to utilize a demonstration project model
as a tool in enabling the implementation of research to practice.
All of the projects are selected on the basis of their ability to
positively impact ESE student outcomes or for our Early Childhood
initiatives to enhance child/caregiver quality of life and/or competence.
The Partnership finds that these projects are dynamic tools which
allow practitioners access to specialized training and implementation
follow up activities designed to meet their particular needs and
concerns. The amount of funds typically available for a project
is $5000.00 and the number of projects we are able to fund varies
from year to year dependant on funding and state priorities. We
are embarking on our 4th year of using this model and the links
on the menu bar will guide you to application information and a
summary of currently funded projects.
