The ESE Certification Incentive Project (CIP)
SOUTHWEST FLORIDA COMPREHENSIVE SYSTEM OF PERSONNEL DEVELOPMENT (CSPD)
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP

The ESE Certification Incentive Project (CIP) is a pilot project to provide rebates up to $800.00 to qualified participants for the completion of a Foundation in Exceptional Education course with a 3.0 or higher and successful completion of the ESE Florida Teachers Certification Examination. ESE long considered a critical shortage area in Florida continues to experience a need for qualified professionals. As students with diverse learning needs are increasingly served in general education classrooms all teachers need to have the appropriate tools and qualifications to support these diverse learners to achieve and succeed.

CSPD Certification


ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS

All General Education and Out of Field Personnel in the five county region of Charlotte, Collier, Hendry, Glades and Lee county serving ESE students. All selections will be based on grant funding availability.


PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

  1. Provide proof of employment in the delivery of educational services within the 5 county region served by the SW FL Professional Development Partnership (Charlotte, Collier, Hendry, Glades and Lee counties).
  2. Completed application form and signed agreement of responsibilities.
  3. Submission of documentation of course completion and grade and documentation of a passing score on FTCE will be required prior to processing of any rebates.
