
DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM: The Teacher Access Point (TAP) assists professionally certified ESE educators to locate, enroll and access their selected method of professional development to achieve required content area certifications and/or endorsements to maintain their status as “highly qualified” educators in the schools districts of the SW Florida Region.

ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS: All ESE Educators who hold a full time instructional position and are currently employed by a public school (includes Charter schools) within the five county region of Charlotte, Collier, Hendry, Glades and Lee county who are serving ESE students. All selections will be based on grant funding availability.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
- Provide proof of employment in the delivery of educational services within the 5 county region served by the SW Florida Professional Development Partnership (Charlotte, Collier, Hendry, Glades and Lee counties).
- Reference letter from school administrator indicating this is a necessary course of professional development for your position.
- Completed application form and signed agreement of responsibilities.
- Submission of tuition payment requests in a timely manner.
